This is last chance saloon for both of these sides to reach the final after a long and arduous PSL 2021 season.

After dominating the group stages and winning eight from ten, Islamabad’s magnificent run finally came to an end in the Qualifier, where they lost to Multan Sultans on Monday.

The 31 run defeat was a huge setback for Islamabad, especially given just how dominant they were in the group stages.

Today’s clash with Peshawar gives them a second bite of the cherry though.

Peshawar confirmed their place in the 2nd Eliminator by beating defending champions Karachi Kings in the 1st Eliminator on Monday. Zalmi won that match by 5 wickets, stopping all the momentum the Kings had built up winning their previous two matches.

For Zalmi, they have been very up and down this season. They can reach the heights at times, but they have just been two consistent.

This makes tipping Islamabad United to win the 2nd Eliminator and take their place in Thursday’s final a fairly simple call.
