They have both a men’s and women’s T20 team.

The men’s team is captained by Travis Head, with former Australian fast bowler, Jason Gillespie, their current coach.

While Luke Williams coaches the women’s side, with New Zealander, Suzie Bates, the captain. The Ladies team play their matches at the Karen Rolton Oval.

The men’s team play their home matches at the Adelaide Oval, which has a capacity of 53,500.

History

The franchise was formed in 2011. They succeeded the Southern Redbacks, who played in the previous competition, the KFC Twenty20 Big Bash.

So far the men’s team has won the Big Bash once, defeating Hobart Hurricanes by 25 runs in the final of the 2017/18 competition.

The women’s team are yet to win a Big Bash title. Their best season to date seen them finish runners-up in the 2019/20 competition.
