England – Strauss (C), Cook, Bopara, Bell, Collingwood, Prior (WK), Broad, Swann, Anderson, Harmison, Onions.
Australia – Katich, Watson, Ponting (C), Hussey, Clarke, North, Haddin (WK), Johnson, Hilfenhaus, Siddle, Clark
England won the toss and have elected to bat.
England went with the positive in replacing Flintoff with Harmison, they have resisted the temptation to play an extra batsman in Trott and potentially play for the draw. Stuart Broad again keeps his place, probably for his batting though.
For Australia Brad Haddin returns behind the stumps and they have brought in Stuart Clark for Nathan Hauritz, with a bit of cloud cover hanging around Headingley this morning Clark’s inclusion could be crucial for Australia.
The Aussies will fancy their chances against England’s fragile batting line up, with Cook struggling again with his technique and the fragile looking middle order of Bopara, Bell and Collingwood, Ponting will fancy his chances – England only need one bad session with the bat to blow this.
